Residence V II
Knokke - Belgium
This full renovation of a coastal house in Knokke is inspired by the sea—not as a literal reference, but through light, proportion, and materiality. Soft mineral tones, terrazzo with rust and amber inclusions, and warm accents in caramel veneer and high-gloss Bottega Veneta Bordeaux create a calm and coherent atmosphere.
Custom and integrated elements are conceived as extensions of the architecture. Calm is achieved through coherence rather than reduction alone.
The ground floor follows an open, fluid plan entirely articulated by sliding doors, allowing spaces to open and close while preserving continuity. Sightlines and a centrally positioned fireplace create intimacy within openness.
Large openings seamlessly connect the interior to the exterior, making light, air, and the coastal landscape active components of the living experience.
